"My wife and I visited the Sekar Jagat Spa 5 times on our trip to Bali.

We were picked up each day from our hotel in a quality vehicle, the driver was always on time.

The premises was built in a traditional Balinese style with several open walled thatched roof buildings, the actual treatment areas however were totally private and secluded, everything was spotlessly clean and hygienic.

All the treatments were well planned and structured, and all the therapists were highly trained, professional and enthusiastic. The therapists themselves were all ethnic Balinese, and had all been trained by the the spa's other owner, who is also Balinese and has studied various massage techniques around the world.

The fact that the therapists were Balinese is important to gauging the quality of an establishment, I have been in spa's all over the world and many bring in staff from other countries as cheap labour to increase profit margins. This practice not only reduces the quality of service clients receive but also takes money out of the pockets of local people. The best spas I have been to always have trained local staff.

My wife and I enjoyed all the treatments, the Indian hot stone massage however was our favourite.

The last day we were there was my wife's birthday, and she had four hours of treatments, they made the day special for her.

Overall the prices of the treatments were very reasonable, and were at least half the cost of equivalent treatments inside our hotel. If you are going to Bali, I would highly recommend going outside your hotel for spa treatments, and I would also highly recommend this spa."

Warm oil poured gently on the fore head to balance the mind and nervous system. The oil streams down the “crown chakra” which magnifies the senses. Reducing stress and enhancing immunity as well as to improve health and vitality. Our Royal Shirodhara includes Head Massage and a 75 min Balinese Body Massage.

It follows Body Lulur, this is a spice exfoliation and polishing process and has been practised in the palaces of Bali and Java since centuries. Turmeric, rice, clove and galangan is used for, its an aromatic experience and lovely for all skins.

After that you soak in a Blossom Filled Bath. Countless hand-picked blossoms with exotic fragrance under the blue sky of Bali. If you want you may replace the bath with 15 minutes extended massage.

Closure with a Traditional Hair Cream Bath: To tender all the muscles of neck and shoulder as well as to nourishing the roots of the hair and to give vitality to the hair by using fresh aloe vera and hibiscus.

Boreh is a healing pack originated by Balinese rice farmers, made from a combination of roots, herbs and spices. Many different herbs and spices are combined to make this paste, at our Sekar Jagat Spa boreh include rice, ginger, kencur, turmeric, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg, star anise, shredded coconut and salt.

We apply Boreh all over your body avoiding sensitive areas, and then wrap your body with cloth to keep the paste in contact with your skin. The sensation is of deep penetrating heat that melts away your tension, increases blood circulation, relieves aching joints and sore muscles and headaches.

ORIGINAL BALINESE MASSAGE

We show you what a Balinese Massage feels like.
A classic Balinese Body Massage is using thumb and palm, long strokes and pressure points to cover and idealize tired and aching muscles as well as for preventive treatment to your body. The massage is firm and skillful carried out. Simply tell your therapist if you want soft, medium or strong massage. As in all our treatments the oil used is of very good quality.

TRANSPORTATION - free of charge

We complimentary pick you up and drop you back to your hotel in Jimbaran (10min), Nusa Dua (10min), Tanjung Benoa (12min), Kuta (20-30mins), Legian, Seminyak or Sanur (30mins). For Legian, Seminyak and Sanur: minimum 2 people taking 2hrs treatment each or 1 person taking 3.5hrs treatment.

NOTE: Drop-off at places other than your hotel depends on availability and is at our sole discretion, kindly consult us first and we will try to meet your request.

AIRPORT TRANSFER (perfect for return flights in the evening) We collect you and your luggage at hotel check-out, you have treatment and shower at our spa and after that we complimentary take you to the airport (20-30mins). Minimum 2 people taking 2hrs treatment or 1 person taking 3.5hrs treatment. Please indicate your airport transfer request when booking.

We also offer free PICK-UP FROM THE AIRPORT to our spa and after spa treatment transfer to your hotel (Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta), provided at least 2 people taking 2hrs treatment each or 1 person taking 3.5hrs treatment.

For airport pick-up procedure consult us at least 24 hours prior to appointment. After arrival call us and we will send our car within 20 minutes to the airport. Transfer to our spa takes less than 20 minutes. After treatment we drop you off at your hotel in Nusa Dua, Jimbaran or Kuta.
