"My wife and I visited the Sekar Jagat Spa 5 times on our trip to Bali.
We were picked up each day from our hotel in a quality vehicle, the driver was always on time.
The premises was built in a traditional Balinese style with several open walled thatched roof buildings, the actual treatment areas however were totally private and secluded, everything was spotlessly clean and hygienic.
All the treatments were well planned and structured, and all the therapists were highly trained, professional and enthusiastic. The therapists themselves were all ethnic Balinese, and had all been trained by the the spa's other owner, who is also Balinese and has studied various massage techniques around the world.
The fact that the therapists were Balinese is important to gauging the quality of an establishment, I have been in spa's all over the world and many bring in staff from other countries as cheap labour to increase profit margins. This practice not only reduces the quality of service clients receive but also takes money out of the pockets of local people. The best spas I have been to always have trained local staff.
My wife and I enjoyed all the treatments, the Indian hot stone massage however was our favourite.
The last day we were there was my wife's birthday, and she had four hours of treatments, they made the day special for her.
Overall the prices of the treatments were very reasonable, and were at least half the cost of equivalent treatments inside our hotel. If you are going to Bali, I would highly recommend going outside your hotel for spa treatments, and I would also highly recommend this spa.

After that you soak in a Blossom Filled Bath. Countless hand-picked blossoms with exotic fragrance under the blue sky of Bali.

Hot Stone Massage is an age old therapy dating back about 5000 years to India. It is the application of water-heated stones to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of comfort and warmth. The penetrating heat from the hot stones “draw out” pain and discomfort and relaxes the muscles which allows for deeper relaxation, when compared with regular massage therapy.

We show you what a Balinese Massage feels like.
A classic Balinese Body Massage is using thumb and palm, long strokes and pressure points to cover and idealize tired and aching muscles as well as for preventive treatment to your body.
